The Amazon Prime Visa is a sneaky good card for those who regularly shop at Amazon or Whole Foods.
Not only does it have no annual fee, but it also comes with several bonus earning categories that can reward the shopping you’re already doing.
And if you’re not a cardholder yet, now might be an ideal time to apply. Through January 7, 2027, new applicants can get a $200 Amazon gift card instantly upon approval, with no spending requirement.
That might just be the easiest welcome bonus you’ll ever earn.
Here’s what to know about the card and how to take advantage of this limited-time offer.
The Prime Visa is issued by Chase, and the current welcome offer is both easy and rewarding: Apply and get approved by January 7, 2027, and you’ll receive a $200 Amazon gift card.
There’s no minimum spending requirement, and you don’t need to wait several months to receive the bonus. The gift card is automatically loaded into your Amazon account upon approval.

To qualify for the Prime Visa, you’ll need an eligible Amazon Prime membership. If you don’t already have one, you can sign up for Prime before applying.
You’ll also need to be signed in to your Amazon account to submit an application. If you’re not signed in, you won’t see the elevated offer.
The offer is available to new cardmembers, subject to the eligibility requirements we’ll cover below.

The welcome bonus is attractive, but the Prime Visa also has some useful ongoing benefits, particularly if you shop frequently at Amazon or Whole Foods.
With an eligible Prime membership, the card earns:
The card also has no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees.
One important distinction is that the Prime Visa’s 5% earning rates require an eligible Prime membership. Without Prime, the standard Amazon Visa earns 3% back at Amazon.com, Whole Foods Market, and Chase Travel.

There are a couple of things to know before applying.
First, the Prime Visa is issued by Chase, which means applicants should be mindful of the bank’s unofficial 5/24 rule.
Generally speaking, Chase may decline an application if you’ve opened five or more personal credit cards across all issuers within the past 24 months.
There are also specific restrictions on the welcome offer.
According to the offer terms, the card is available to applicants who don’t currently have an Amazon Visa or Prime Visa credit card. The $200 gift card is awarded only to new cardmembers at the time of approval.
That means existing Amazon Visa and Prime Visa cardholders aren’t eligible to receive the gift card through this offer.
